A Rare Vintage Champagne Rosé
Alfred Gratien's Cuvée Paradis Rosé 2008 is a prestige cuvée from one of Champagne's most traditional and uncompromising houses. Gratien remains one of the last Champagne producers to ferment entirely in small oak barrels and never use malolactic fermentation — a philosophy that produces wines of extraordinary tension, complexity, and longevity. The 2008 vintage is widely regarded as one of the greatest Champagne vintages of the modern era.
Tasting Notes
- Appearance: Luminous salmon-copper with an elegant, persistent bead
- Nose: Wild strawberry, blood orange, rose petal, toasted brioche, and a mineral, chalky depth
- Palate: Precise and structured with vibrant acidity, red berry fruit, subtle spice, and a creamy, expansive mid-palate
- Finish: Exceptionally long, saline, and refined — a Champagne built to age gracefully
Winemaking
Fermented in small oak barrels (demi-muids) without malolactic fermentation. Aged for a minimum of 8 years on lees before disgorgement. A house style that prioritizes freshness, precision, and cellaring potential above all else.
Pairing Suggestions
Lobster bisque, duck breast with cherry reduction, aged comté, or enjoyed on its own as a contemplative pour.

Organic Wines: Terroir in Its Purest Form
Organic wines are crafted from grapes grown without synthetic pesticides, herbicides, or fertilizers, allowing the vineyard's natural character to shine through. These wines reflect a commitment to sustainable viticulture and respect for the land, often revealing more nuanced expressions of their terroir.
From biodynamic estates in Burgundy to certified organic vineyards in California's coastal regions, our organic selections showcase winemakers who prioritize soil health and biodiversity. The result is wine that speaks authentically to its origin—pure, expressive, and thoughtfully made.
