Freedom is not a word Fantesca uses lightly. The 2021 "All Great Things" Freedom is a Napa Valley Cabernet Sauvignon that speaks to the estate's conviction — that great wine is an act of intention, grown from the ground up on Spring Mountain and shaped by the hands that tend it.
The 2021 vintage delivered a warm, even growing season with well-timed rainfall, yielding fruit of exceptional concentration and balance. In the glass, Freedom is deep ruby with violet edges. The nose opens with dark cherry, cassis, and a ribbon of cedar and dried herbs. On the palate, it's full-bodied and structured, with polished tannins, layers of blackberry, dark chocolate, and a long, mineral-driven finish that lingers with quiet authority.
This is a wine built for the cellar but rewarding now — decant for an hour and let it tell its story.
