The Masi Costasera Amarone della Valpolicella Classico Riserva 2019 is the flagship expression of Masi Agricola — a wine that has defined Amarone for generations. Named after the sun-drenched hillside slopes of the Valpolicella Classico zone, Costasera is crafted from hand-selected Corvina Veronese, Corvinone, and Rondinella grapes, dried for up to 120 days using Masi's celebrated double fermentation appassimento technique.

The 2019 vintage was exceptional in the Veneto: warm, dry summers and cool nights yielded grapes of outstanding concentration and natural acidity. Elevated to Riserva status, this wine received extended aging in large Slavonian oak casks, emerging with extraordinary complexity and cellar potential spanning decades.

Deep garnet with ruby highlights. The nose is opulent and layered — dried cherry, black fig, dark chocolate, espresso, tobacco, leather, and a whisper of dried violet. On the palate, it is majestic: full-bodied with velvety, perfectly integrated tannins, a rich and layered mid-palate, and an extraordinarily long, spiced finish.
