Abadía de San Campio is a benchmark expression of Albaríno from Rías Baixas — the Atlantic-kissed appellation of Galicia in northwestern Spain where granite soils, coastal winds, and abundant rainfall conspire to produce some of the world’s most distinctive and food-friendly white wines. The 2024 vintage captures the essence of the appellation with characteristic precision and freshness.
Brilliant pale gold in the glass, the nose is aromatic and expressive: white peach, ripe apricot, and citrus zest are interwoven with notes of jasmine, saline minerality, and a subtle herbal lift that speaks directly to Galicia’s lush, ocean-influenced landscape. On the palate, the wine is medium-bodied and vibrant, with a refreshing acidity, a silky texture, and a long, mineral-driven finish with a characteristic bitter almond note on the close.
