A polished Saint-Émilion Grand Cru balancing fresh fruit, silky texture and classic Right Bank structure. Spiced plum and cherry meet a mineral lift, with measured oak influence and a refined, lingering finish.
Tasting Notes:
- Appearance: Deep ruby.
- Nose: Small red fruits, licorice and fresh wood, with spiced plum and cherry notes.
- Palate: Medium-bodied and balanced, with a silky entry, firm chalky tannins and fresh fruit.
- Finish: Long and refined, with lingering fruit and vanilla.
Blend & Winemaking:
65% Merlot and 35% Cabernet Franc. Macerated for 25–30 days and aged for 12–14 months in French oak, with 20–40% new barrels. Alcohol: 14.5%.
Critical Review:
James Suckling, 92 points: “Fresh, juicy St-Émilion with spiced plums, cherries, minerals. Not huge depth, but refined and linear. Firm, chalky tannins, medium body, al dente red fruit. Drink or hold.”
