Le Chant du Coq Chenin Blanc 2023

A polished Stellenbosch Chenin Blanc from 35-year-old vines in Polkadraai. White peach, pear, and green apple meet orange blossom and honeycomb, with fresh minerality and a subtle old-oak creaminess. Fermented and aged in stainless steel, old French oak, and cement, it balances generous texture with brisk acidity and a long, granitic finish.

At the table: Grilled prawns, seared scallops, lemon-butter fish, Cape Malay chicken curry, apricot-glazed snoek braai, or peri-peri chicken.
