From the Barbaresco DOCG in the Langhe hills of Piedmont, this wine trades some of Barolo's brute force for earlier accessibility and silkier elegance — without sacrificing depth or complexity.
Garnet with a translucent rim, it opens with an expressive bouquet of red cherry, rose petal, orange zest, and dried herbs, with subtle notes of tobacco, vanilla, and forest floor. On the palate, it is refined and layered — medium-to-full bodied with fine-grained tannins, lively acidity, and a long, perfumed finish that speaks unmistakably of Piedmont.
